Help Supply Orphans In Morocco (Ramadan 2023)

As we all approach the holy month of Ramadan, not only is this the time of the year where Muslims all around the world fast and devote their time towards self-reflection and spiritual growth, but it's also a time that allows a beautiful opportunity to give back to those who are less fortunate, and to provide a helping hand to communities in need.

This Ramadan of 2023, my goal is to branch out and raise money to help orphans/children in Morocco that come from impoverished neighborhoods, have no parents or extended family members to care for them, have been abandoned, or simply come from difficult backgrounds. Due to these brutal circumstances, now they solely rely on orphanage organizations for educational, health, and financial support. Unfortunately, many of these establishments are struggling to provide due to the lack of economic funding and are undergoing other issues that cause a lack of consistency in delivering essentials for these children in Morocco daily.

The basis of this GoFundMe is to help raise money to support these organizations and supply them with care packages that contain backpacks, blankets, toys, non-perishable foods (shipping purposes), personal hygiene kits, etc.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that “When a person gives in charity, it increases their wealth and the reward of their good deeds.” Giving charity during Ramadan is considered to be even more rewarding, as it is believed that the blessings and rewards of good deeds are multiplied during this month.
