Help Super Saffy and her family.
Donation protected
As many of you already know young Saffy King at just under 7months old was diagnosed with Childhood acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), this is a rare type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. Since diagnosis she has been admitted to GOSH where she has under gone unimaginable chemotherapy and more recently a bone marrow transplant in the hopes of curing this horrible disease.
In November 2021 she underwent a bone marrow transplant which has left her immunosuppressed for at least the next 9 months. This mean she will understandable need both her parents there looking after her and keeping her safe. Unfortunately this mean that both Vicky and Danny have had to put their own self employed business’s to one side to focus on Saffy’s recovery. The financial implications of this mean that the family income been dramatically reduced yet the bills are still there to be paid. As I know lots of you have been asking about ways to help or if there would be a crowd funding page so I have set one up in the hope that we can make this awful time slightly more bearable by helping to relieve some of the financial burden.
She has lost her energy, her hair and has missed out on experiencing all her firsts at home, instead she has learnt to crawl in a hospital ward surrounded by nurses and doctors yet still has a beautiful smile in her face.
At just 10months old Saffy (and her parents) have had a rough start but with the continued support of their friends and family and the fantastic work from the incredible Dr’s at GOSH we know that Saffy will have a bright future ahead of her.
