Hello friends and family. I have a 10th grade student from a family in need. He is a bright, kind, and incredibly resilient young man and he needs our help. He is 15 years old, Latino, and lives in a multi-family home. His mother, who is an essential worker and currently still working, is pregnant and due any day now. His grandmother, who lives with them, is elderly and needs constant medical attention, which he is often providing while his family is at work. He is also responsible for babysitting his nieces and nephews while his older siblings go to work. This doesn't give him much time to devote to his studies and credits towards graduation. Yesterday, his uncle died of Covid-19, during 2nd period, after being in the hospital for two months. His family is mourning a great loss, and going through so much, and I am asking you to chip in any amount to help his family with the expenses they are facing and to help my student.
