My name is Misty and I am a sister and a friend that knows no bounds when it comes to my sister.

We are all affected by the current state of our country in so.e way or another and my sister has seen it from the bottom of the barrel. Her name is Stormie and she has seen and experienced every way you can have a streak of bad luck for over 6 years now.

She had the job of a lifetime as a personal assistant to a world renouned speaker, supporter and active 12 stage recovery champion that imprinted her legacy into Stormies walk of life. Without the teachings, love and support she was blessed to recieve from years with her charge, she could easily have given up and lost everything.

A mother to a son and a grandmother she clung to any branch or limb she could in attempt to help save herself and her family as she slipped down a slick mudslide hill to financial ruin. After a divorce, a wrongfull lawsuit followed by bankruptcy, COVID and the unfortunate retirement of her employer due to health issues, she found herself dire. She had a beautiful life raising and training horses, had bought her a home and was helping support her son and his new family.

The loss of her job and the lawsuit took its toll having her wake one day and realize she could no longer pay the bills or feed the animals. These animals are family and her passion. Many of them she has had for years raised from babies. How does one sell a family member? How do you wake one day and realize you can no longer live life as you did yesterday or open the fridge and have nothing to eat? The electricity turned off and the water next. The job search went on and on. The local economy was unrelenting and brutal. Jobs were painful hard labor that crippled her with very little pay and no benefits. Lifes battles continued bringing one more set back after another after another.

I tried helping from a distance. I called on her birthday and it was a day of lost hope. On the side of the road in her car she was in tears after a day of hard labor a 24 year old would have struggled to complete. Since that day she has uprooted her life to move here with me. I have done my almighty best to support her, save the life she created for the last 35 years and help her make many 2400 mile round trips to move. We need help. Shes killing herself now on the final round of getting the property and house fit to sell for top market value. Her bills need paid, animals need fed and my bills need paid. We have given it all to God and pray for any help we can be blessed with. She is working to repair and clean up a the property with little help and I cant afford to pay someone to help her nor can I leave my job to go help.

When all hope is lost, God is there. Seek and ye shall find.
