Help Stop Violence and Hate Crimes Against Asians

Where do I even begin?
It really saddens me to see so much hatred and anger projected onto the Asian American people. Without a doubt, there has been an uprise in assaults and hate crimes against the Asian American communities within the country. It seems like everyday, we find out that there has been a new attack, tragedy, and maybe even death... from a community member.
Why aren’t these issues being reported in the major media new outlets? Our issues are constantly being ignored and our voices continue to be silenced. I am absolutely mortified that our problems are swept under a rug. It did not help us at all when President Trump seemingly “legitimized” crimes against Asian Americans by referring to COVID-19 as the “China Virus.”
I am just an ordinary individual who wants to make a positive change, even if that means only making a dent in the world of problems. But I am only one individual... I just cannot be the only one who feels this way.
