Help Stop the Norden Warehouse
The effort to stop the Norden Warehouse from being approved is a huge task. The East Norwalk Neighborhood Association (ENNA) the newly formed Sasqua Hills Neighborhood Association (SHNA) cannot wage this effort alone.
SHNA has hired experienced land use attorney Joel Green and expert consultants to provide evidence that will help us defeat this application. The estimated budget for opposing this development is $50,000!
The lawyer and the experts will present a case opposing the warehouse project at the Zoning Commission's hearing on January 7.
We need your help today to raise money to help defend our neighborhoods from this travesty. If the warehouse comes into being 36,000 trucks will rumble down our streets every year going past three schools.
Every Norwalker will feel the negative effects of this. Your quality of life will be impacted by even worse traffic congestion and probable gridlock. By air pollution. By truck noise. By creating unsafe conditions for pedestrians, bicyclists, dog walkers. By diminished property values. By a lack of future investment in a community that could evolve into a truck depot instead of village district.
Please give what you can today to keep our neighborhood free from truck traffic
