Help Steve Overcome Life's New Challenges

So, my name is Donna. I’m his wife. We were recently married in August 2024, a very exciting time in our lives. We were living high on love. We went to the extremes and got married in Ireland. It was amazing. Our lives were open for adventure.

I let Steve know that he should go with the guys. Go, have fun! With that, unfortunately, came a life-turning event. Steve was in a motorcycle accident and now is a quadriplegic. This has changed our lives dramatically. It’s amazing what Medicare does not cover! Transportation is the number one expense at this point. It cost $8,000 to transport him from North Carolina to Florida. And then each time he’s admitted, it’s more money.

Also found out that any antibiotics are over $21,000 out of my pocket, which is crazy. Right now, that is being covered as long as he’s in the hospital! A lot of this does not make sense.

He has served this country not as a veteran, but as a New York City police officer during 9/11. He was on the police force for over 20 years with canine.

I know I have friends and family out there that don’t ride motorcycles and would like to help. This is why I’m starting the GoFundMe account.
