My Dad, Steve Garalde, and my Uncle Raymond Garalde lost their home in fire last night. My Dad has been here in Redding, CA, helping us out with child care for the past couple of months. Luckily, he wasn't there when it happened. Uncle Ray was in the home when the fire started but was able to make it out safely.

I can't imagine losing everything you've worked your whole life for and the sentimental valuables and memories that happened in that home.
