My name is Stephanie, and my son and I are facing one of the hardest times of our lives. We were traveling the United States with my husband, but everything changed when he passed away here in New Mexico. Now, it’s just the two of us, and I’m also dealing with health issues that make it impossible for me to work. We don’t have anyone else to turn to, and we’re trying to find a way to move forward on our own.

Our biggest hope right now is to find a steady place to live—a safe and stable home where my son and I can start to rebuild.
