Today, I went into a thrift store and asked a lady if she could buy a tie for me because I didn’t have any money and had a job interview coming up. That’s when I met Stephanie, who immediately grabbed the tie and went and bought it for me. She then explained how she was struggling and behind on bills as her two main jobs are working at Whataburger and being a door keeper at the church. I then told her I didn’t need the help and surprised her with $1,000. She began screaming and then crying as she was in shock. I then asked Stephanie what her dream was, and she explained that it was to see her son get set free from his drug addiction and to go to rehab. She believes he would be open to it if she could send him.

So I say we come together as the kindness family and relieve the stress of all the bills and burdens Stephanie is going through, along with raising enough money for her son to go and get help at a rehab center.
