Dear Beloved Family, Friends, and Loved Ones,

I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, I am not one to often share on social media. However, I have created this GoFundMe page to advocate for my sister, Stephanie Dickerson, who continues to recover from a second stroke in the past two years. I feel deeply moved to reach out now and ask for your support.

Throughout this journey, God’s guidance, provision, and Presence have been a constant source of strength for our family. While we have faced many obstacles, the All Mighty has met us at every turn, and I remain profoundly grateful for the love and support that continues to flow from all of you.

On April 22, 2025, Stephanie underwent successful brain surgery to remove a blood clot that triggered her most recent stroke. She is currently receiving excellent care at an Assisted Living Facility in South Florida, where she is making steady progress in her recovery. However, she has not been able to work in her IT management position for the past two years, since the first stroke.

I am writing to kindly request financial assistance to continue providing her with the care she needs while we await approval for her Disability application, which is expected to take anywhere from 30 to 90 days. As challenging as this situation is, I humbly ask for any support you can offer, no matter how small, from the heart. All funds raised will go directly to her care. My sister and I are currently covering the expenses out-of-pocket until the determination is made. To help sustain her care during this time, I’ve set a goal of $10,000, which will cover three months of her stay at the facility. I have faith that the Disability claim will be approved before that time, and we are also awaiting a determination on her Medical Insurance.

Stephanie and I are born just ten months apart, essentially “Irish twins,” and as many of you know, we share a strong sense of independence and pride. Asking for help is not easy for either of us, but I am determined to do whatever is necessary to support my sister’s continued health improvement—the " best case scenario" I pray for daily. For those of you who know her, you know Stephanie is a fighter, and we’ve already witnessed incredible progress in her health. With your support—whether through donations, prayers, or words of encouragement—I am hopeful that we will see her return to full strength.
