Help Steinhatchee Families Rebuild Lives
Donation protected
Many of you know me and my family. My son Jeremy and his family moved to Steinhatchee several years ago. Jeremy works for Duke Energy still out of the Perry yard and Kiley is a teacher at the Steinhatchee school, both their girls graduated high school this past year and go to college and work at the Sea Hag Marina. Jeremy and Kiley’s new home was untouched by the hurricane other than a few downed trees. Many people of Steinhatchee have lost their homes and businesses which were these people’s livelihood. They have lost everything and many are sleeping in their cars and only have the clothes on their backs. I am reaching out to you if you want to help those that have lost everything. The only grocery store (Maddie’s) was destroyed as well.
My youngest daughter Mandi who works at SSHS is currently taking donations of anything from clothing to sleeping bags, tents, rain boots, window units, fans, chainsaws, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, towels, wash clothes, paper plates, cups, coke, gator aid, gallon waters, nonperishable food items, utensils, dog food, totes, tire plug sets, first aid kits and the list goes on. She will be making a trip Saturday and I am planning to go up to take a load. So if you would like to donate anything you can get these items to me and we will get them to Steinhatchee. If you do not have any of the items but want to help I will take donations and go to Walmart and pick up the items you would like to send up. Amazon and Walmart gift cards will also help.
If you can’t help out, please continue to pray for everyone affected by this storm.
