Hi, I'm Steffanie Mormino with The Aeroponic Tower Channel.

I live 4 miles outside of downtown Marshall, NC, which was destroyed in Hurricane Helene.

The Lord quickly put on my heart to lean in and help people secure "better than tent" shelters as many are living in tents due to the loss of their homes. Through fundraising, we were able to get 15 sheds finished out with insulation, drywall, and paint to be safe shelters for the winter. Over 25 people will now be warm this winter and have a safe space to call home.

This is just a temporary solution, however, and now we are moving into long-term solutions. Our next project is turning a shed home that is up to code into a permanent residence for a family of 6: mom, dad, and children ages 6, 5, 3, and 1. This is a home that will belong to them 100% and can be moved if by chance they are forced to leave the land.

My passion is to help people with housing. I don't want to see our locals suffer and be displaced. All funds are going to securing housing, land, or whatever is needed to help people stay in WNC and be secure.
