I my name is Bushrah also known as Bee , The Bee-Hive Community Food Hub is a grassroots initiative dedicated to reducing food waste and supporting the community with essential food supplies. With three years of experience volunteering to save surplus food through an online app, Bee witnessed firsthand the transformative power of food redistribution—but also recognised a gap in reaching the most vulnerable members of the community.
Driven by a passion for sustainability and compassion for others, The Bee-Hive Community Food Hub works like a hive—collaborative, resourceful, and always buzzing with purpose. Our mission is to rescue perfectly good food from going to landfill and redirect it to those in need, fostering a supportive, sustainable, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
