Help Grow Our Lady of Guadalupe’s School Garden!
Hi! My name is Bianca Huerta-Oliva, and I’m a practicum teacher, proud alumni of Our Lady of Guadalupe School, and a parent of current students. I’m working to start a Garden Club that gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn, lead, and care for something meaningful, our school garden.
We’re planting more than just seeds, we’re growing a future rooted in learning, service, and community care!
The Our Lady of Guadalupe School Garden will be a place where students learn about science, sustainability, nutrition, and responsibility through direct experience. Our students will take charge in maintaining the garden by planting, watering, harvesting, and keeping it thriving throughout the year.
But we need your help to get it off the ground!
Your donation will help us:
Purchase soil, seeds, tools, and garden supplies
Build raised beds
Fund ongoing maintenance and student-led projects
Our vision is to create a space where families of the school, parishioners, and local neighbors can take what they need such as herbs, vegetables, or flowers, free of charge. The garden will be a shared space of generosity, growth, and connection.
Every contribution, big or small, helps bring this dream to life. Thank you so much for supporting our students and helping our garden grow!
