Help Star Track Keep Kids Active This Winter!

Star Track is one of largest youth cycling clubs in the country and the 2019 USA Club Junior Cub of the Year. Our mission is to bring the sport of track cycling to New York City’s underserved youth by offering them a 100% no cost program: each child gets a bike to ride, a helmet to wear, their own Star Track cycling kit and free classes and instruction throughout the year. Cycling is an expensive sport. Our program eliminates the barriers that keep so many children from discovering it.
Due to the pandemic, our fundraising is down significantly. Most notably, we are unable to hold our annual in-person gala which we depend on to generate much of our annual operating budget. So for only the second time in our 15-year history, we are launching a GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to get as many of our 110 students on Zwift this off-season by providing them each a Bluetooth-enabled trainer compatible with the Zwift platform.
We already have 20% of our students Zwifting, but we want to offer it to everyone, so all of the children are able to keep up their training and have physical activity that is so vital to their growth as both a young adult and a cyclist.
