Help Stacy Seek Justice for Wrongful Termination

Donation protected
A few days ago, my sister Stacy was wrongfully terminated from her job at the International Trade Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce, just minutes after finishing her one-year probationary period. The termination memo she received stated that she was “not fit for continued employment because of [her] ability, knowledge and/or skills.” This was cited despite having concrete proof of the contrary.

Stacy received the highest score a civil servant can receive on her annual review, documented praises from her supervisors and colleagues across the agency, and had successfully completed multiple projects since joining her office. The baseless claim in the memorandum provided no evidence nor expanded upon the reasoning.

Stacy is going to fight for her employment rights as a federal employee and for her due process. We are seeking donations for this legal battle and appreciate any support you have to give even if it’s just words of encouragement. She has found legal representation she is confident in and was estimated an expense of $5,000 - $10,000 for the entire process. As of now, we are hoping to raise $5,000.

We were very heartbroken when she told us what happened. Stacy is an extremely hard worker and loved her job. Federal employees do not deserve what is happening to them. Any amount will help Stacy reach her goal, thank you!
