Help Stacy, Haley and Logan

Family and Friends,

This past Thursday evening, my cousin Stacy's husband of 15 years tragically took his own life. I want to share some details about this devastating situation Stacy Sutt LaBrecque and her two kids, Logan 9 and Haley 13, are currently dealing with. Stacy's husband Luke suffered from PTSD after his military service and for over 15 years. Unfortunately this week he lost that battle; leaving behind a devastated family.

All of the family assets were held only in Luke's name. He managed all of their finances, and was the sole provider for the family of 4; now 3. Stacy has no access to the limited funds that ultimately should be available for her and the kids. She also has no idea how much is there, and will not know until she manages through the probate process. That will take time and effort to navigate.

In the meantime she grieves the traumatic loss of her spouse, and tries to mend the unmendable loss that her kids must be experiencing. Next week she will celebrate Haley's 14th birthday...life must go on. Keeping the lights on and the bills paid shouldn't be something that she has to worry about right now, but due to the circumstance, it is a worry. Any amount will help as they try to regain some sense of normalcy, and work through the "process" that comes along with an unexpected death.

Stacy recently obtained her degree; and she will find a job; and she will be able to take care of herself and her kids. However today they need help. All funds will deposit directly to her account.
