Hi, my name is Nora and I am asking you to help my former neighbors Staci, Marcus and Sammy as they face the unimaginable.

On March 3 while driving back to Idaho from her nephew’s funeral in California with her partner Marcus and their son Sam (4), Staci began having breathing problems and collapsed, requiring emergency transport to the nearest local hospital in St. George, Utah where she has been in the ICU since.

Staci needed resuscitation, was put on life support, and, despite several days in a medically induced coma, has not yet regained consciousness. Doctors fear severe brain damage from the event.

Her partner and young son are now far from home and without Staci, their rock.

Sammy and my son Emmett used to play for hours together, and a week never went by without Staci’s generosity, offering him to share lunches, dinners and fresh baked cookies at the picnic table behind their house. We’ve missed them since they moved several months ago and are just devastated.

Marcus is an electrician and will be unable to work for the time being as he faces many unknowns and hard decisions, and importantly, being papa to their boy.

Marcus is holding onto hope and what they need most right now is a miracle to bring Staci back to them. But they will also need food, lodging, gas, and money to cover bills, as well as potential ongoing medical expenses.

Please help to take the extra burden and worry of how to cover these necessities and expenses off their plate during this time of crisis.
