On Sunday, August 10th, my sister Stacia Wrench, her husband, and their two young children faced every family’s worst nightmare. The recent flooding in Milwaukee, combined with a city sewage backup, has destroyed their home and turned their lives upside down.
Their basement and living space were filled with contaminated water, ruining nearly everything in its path. Their furnace, computers, essential business equipment, and a brand-new washer and dryer are gone. Family belongings that can never be replaced are lost.
This disaster has left them not only with an overwhelming cleanup but also without the tools they need to work and earn income. They’ve had to miss work days, and some of their business items were damaged beyond repair. On top of that, the family now faces extra costs for laundromats, cleaning supplies, protective gear, and professional sanitation services to make their home safe again.
Stacia and her family are strong, but this has been a crushing blow. They’ve worked so hard for everything they have, and in one night, so much was taken away.
We’re asking for help to cover:
• Cleanup and sanitation costs
• Replacement of essential appliances
• Business equipment repairs/replacements
• Laundry and temporary living expenses
• Lost income from missed work
Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference in helping this family recover. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to spread the word.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
