Stacia Harper was diagnosed with Stage 4 cervical cancer on 7/16/24, three weeks after the sudden passing of her loving husband, Chad Harper. Stacia began treatments on 8/13/24 and will undergo radiation & infusions for 90 minutes per day and chemotherapy once a week for 5.5 hours per session. This process is estimated to continue until November 1st or until the cancer is beaten!

Stacia is well known within the tight-knit community of Flora, IN as the "cake lady" and has been baking cakes for all sorts of celebrations and events for going on 27 years. As many of you know, with our family's previous sudden loss & now this, it is a lot to digest for the days ahead for both Stacia, family, & friends.

Positive news from the doctors: The cancer is "One of the smallest tumors they have seen & the cancer is extremely curable." The cancer has not spread anywhere else other than the bladder/cervix and they will be able to target the area specifically to kill the cancer cells.

With all this being said, we want to offer another avenue to aid in financial support for Stacia as she walks down this road and we walk down it with her. She enjoys staying busy daily making cakes regularly and working locally at Legacy Meat Co. during the day as she can- and this process will not make things any easier. Stacia is as tough as they come, raising 6 of us kids in a house with 1 bathroom, and we know this is just another speed-bump on the road ahead.
