My name is Stacey Zaliagiris. I am asking for help so that I can continue to devote my time and energy to Laura's recovery.

I had to leave my job in October 2024 to care for my adult daughter, Laura Houle, after she had brain surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. The surgery left her with left side paralysis and a vision impairment. My full time job, unpaid, became helping her physically recover from the surgery and then to begin rebuilding the brain pathways to hep her regain mobility. The first year of her progress is vital to what she will retain for the remainder of her life.

During the last six months, I have been able to make all of my monthly bills by utilizing my savings and help from wonderful friends and family. All of my own resources have been depleted and I still have 4 months until I return to my teaching position.

God has provided us with healing for Laura and financial help throughout his journey. I am confident that this is how I was to spend this year of my life as I know it is the most important teaching and learning I have every experienced. The time spent helping Laura physically and our entire family emotionally has been a prayer answered.
