Hi everyone! My name is Roberson Brown, this year I’m running three marathons to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every mile is dedicated to the kids and families facing battles far tougher than any race. St. Jude ensures families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus on what matters most, healing. This challenge will push me physically, but it’s nothing compared to the strength these children show every single day. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund life-saving care and research. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate in the U.S. from 20% to more than 80%. But in many countries only 1 out of 5 children who develop cancer will survive. Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
