Hello, my name is Natalee. P, and I'm from Hamilton, Ontario. My niece helped me create this fundraiser to help my family in St. Elizabeth Jamaica.

A few days ago, my family went through a tragedy that none of us could have ever imagined. A devastating house fire completely destroyed their home in Newton, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Five family members were inside at the time. Four were able to escape — though two sustained burn injuries — but heartbreakingly, my nephew, Ezra Gayle, did not make it out. He was 40 years old, deeply loved, and a cherished part of the Newton community. His loss has left an unimaginable void in all of our lives.

Along with this heartbreaking loss, the family has lost everything they owned — their home, clothing, personal belongings, and a lifetime of memories. In a matter of moments, their entire world was turned upside down.

Right now, they are trying to pick up the pieces, rebuild their lives, and find some sense of stability again. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who feels called to help. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses, medical care, replacing essential items, securing housing, and supporting them through this painful and overwhelming time.
