My name is Indrajith (Indy), and I’m originally from Sri Lanka, now living in Canada. Today, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

Sri Lanka — a place known for its warm smiles, endless kindness, and incredible hospitality — is now facing one of its hardest moments. Over the past days, severe flooding has devastated communities across the island. Homes have disappeared under water, families have lost everything, and thousands are struggling for food, clean water, and basic essentials.

If you’ve ever been to Sri Lanka, you know this truth:

Sri Lankan people are some of the most welcoming, friendly, and caring souls you will ever meet. Many of you have felt their generosity firsthand — the open doors, the shared meals, the kindness given without expecting anything in return.

Today, they need us.

This fundraiser is my humble effort to support families who have been hit hardest by these floods. Your donation will go directly toward:

• Emergency food and drinking water

• Temporary shelter and dry clothing

• Hygiene supplies

• Medical needs
