I have some exciting news to share with you in hopes you will be inspired, partner with me, and pray with me. This past summer of 2024, I got to experience an opportunity that I never thought would be within my reach. I had the chance to live in Switzerland for two and a half months and be surrounded by a community of people who love the Lord. I got to witness the daily lives of missionaries who continuously threw every desire they had, such as money, stability, and worldly success, behind to live a life relying on the Lord to further his kingdom and share the good news of the Gospel. I got to hear so many inspiring stories of missionaries. It truly showed me God’s sovereignty over every tongue, every tribe, and every nation (Revelation 5:9-10) as I got to worship in different languages, hear people pray in their native tongue, and witness the Lord move in Lausanne, Switzerland. This trip placed in me the desire to spread the gospel across the world. However, I did not know where yet and continuously asked the Lord for guidance on where to go.
Upon my arrival back home, I had a continuous tug on my heart for the people who had never heard of Jesus. Within the past year, the Lord has placed a passion for women on my heart, to be more in community with women, encourage them in the Lord, and to embrace the femininity the Lord has given us. Upon my search for mission trips and through prayer, I came across a “Women’s Refugee Missions Trip” located in East Africa through the International Missions Board website. After reading about this trip, I realized that this is what I was searching for and praying for.
So, I am excited to share that this Summer 2025, I will be going to East Africa with IMB’s Nehemiah Team to help serve and share the good news of the Lord to refugee women of the Sudanese War that has displaced millions of people. Our vision is to meet refugee women and teach and share the Gospel to further God's work in East Africa. We also want to work alongside and partner with the local church through encouragement and service. I am also seeking partners in prayer, to pray over our team's safety, provisions, lives given to Christ, and for the Sudanese refugees. The total cost of the trip is $6,500 which I need to raise by May 5th to cover the costs of living expenses for two months as well as the flights, visa, and health insurance costs. If you feel the Lord calling you to partner with me financially, please know that your gifts will be received as grace and used to serve those in need. I will provide information below on ways you can help donate. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter and the vision the Lord has given me. I can’t wait to share with you what the Lord has done in the lives of the people in East Africa!
