Five years ago, the Kilted Santa Project started with one simple idea: that no child should wake up on Christmas morning without a reason to smile.

What began as a few gifts delivered quietly to local families has grown into a beautiful community effort — neighbors helping neighbors, strangers becoming friends, and hearts opening wider every year. This project isn’t about charity; it’s about connection. It’s about reminding one another that we’re not alone, that kindness still lives here, and that together we can bring joy where it’s needed most.

Each year, we “adopt” families in need — providing Christmas gifts, essentials, and a little extra holiday magic. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us make that happen. 100% of what’s raised goes directly to the families — there are no administrative costs, no overhead, just good deeds and giving hearts.

As the project grows, so does the need. Families who are struggling to make ends meet, single parents doing their best, and children who still believe in magic — they’re the reason we do this.
