Hello friends, family, and compassionate community members,

We’re reaching out on behalf of Sphenia Jones and her son Trevor Widen, who is currently facing serious and undiagnosed medical issues at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). Trevor has been admitted and will remain hospitalized indefinitely while doctors investigate the cause of his ongoing and painful stomach condition.

Sphenia has traveled to Vancouver to be by Trevor’s side — offering support, love, and advocacy during this deeply uncertain and emotional time. As many of you know, navigating a health crisis away from home can be overwhelming — emotionally, physically, and financially.

We’re raising funds to help cover Sphenia’s living expenses while she remains in Vancouver:

• Transportation

• Temporary accommodation

• Basic essentials

These funds will allow her to focus entirely on being there for Trevor, without the added stress of how to afford it.
