Hello, I'm Amanda Rodgers, and I’m fundraising for my nephew, Spencer Rodgers. He’s only 18 years old and was recently the victim of a terrible car accident caused by a drunk driver.

On September 8th, Spencer was driving with his girlfriend when a drunk driver ran a red light at 70 mph and T-boned the driver’s side of his car. His girlfriend thankfully walked away with a concussion, but Spencer took the full impact. He was rushed to the ICU with severe injuries: fractures to his pelvis, femur, and lower leg; a broken rib that partially collapsed a lung; and a crack at the base of his skull.

That first night was critical—his blood pressure kept dropping due to internal bleeding, and doctors worked urgently to stabilize him. While the bleeding has been stopped, Spencer now faces multiple surgeries, an extensive hospital stay, and a long road of rehabilitation.

We are asking for your help to support Spencer’s recovery. Donations will go directly toward his medical bills, rehabilitation, and the support he needs to heal and rebuild his life. At 18 years old, Spencer should be looking forward to new beginnings—not fighting to recover from such a traumatic event.
