Hi everyone, This is my best friend, Sparky. I adopted him when he was just a year old, and this year he turned 13. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but today I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help. Sparky isn’t just a pet, he’s family. He’s been by my side through some of the toughest times in my life, including when I lost my dad in 2018. Through it all, Sparky has offered me and my mom comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love. Now, he’s the one who needs support, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he deserves. Recently, Sparky was diagnosed with a serious issue that requires surgery on his spleen. The diagnosis came out of nowhere, he showed no signs of illness. It’s been emotionally overwhelming and financially straining. His treatment is expected to cost around $10,000, which includes the surgery, medication, and aftercare. It’s a cost I simply can’t manage on my own, and time is critical. Despite everything, Sparky is still fighting. He’s managing to get up, walk, drink water, and eat his favorite food—chicken. The vets say he has a good chance of recovery if we act quickly. Every day, he looks at me with those bright, loving eyes, tail wagging, still full of life and hope. I want to do everything I can to keep that spark alive in him.
