My niece Sophia experienced a terrifying incident Thursday afternoon when her engine suddenly caught fire while driving down I-85. Thankfully, she and her son Carter made it out safely—but the car is a total loss, along with everything they had inside.

This vehicle was their only means of transportation, and losing it has created a major hardship for them. I’m starting a GoFundMe to help her get back on her feet and purchase another car.
