I am Sonia, I am a teacher and trying to do work in the community to help folks. However, my own loved ones do not live in the areas I am working in where we are bringing housing assistance to the people. I need to make sure my family is able to cover their housing for March. There are multiple households within our family, and I have taken into consideration when setting my goal what they are bringing in through work as well as school assistance. Some of the families have young children, some school age and most own their own home. A few family members are trying to return to work as they feel comfortable or they have been working out of the house to sell food, but even with that they will not be able to make housing without the support of the community. The current situation has already exacerbated financial issues created by serious health issues in one of the households.
