Help Sonia get a Visa
Donation protected
Last week my friend Sonia and her one and a half year old daughter, who are Haitian, were detained and deported from their home in the Dominican Republic and sent back to Haiti. Sonia, like many other Haitian mothers living in the DR, some pregnant or breastfeeding and with young children, were detained by immigration while seeking medical care at a local Dominican clinic. The United Nations has called on the Dominican Republic to stop this violation on human rights. In order for Sonia to live safely and find work in the DR, she needs a visa and her daughter, who was born in the DR, needs a passport. Join me in raising the funds for this beautiful family to live in peace.
Semen pase a, zanmi mw Sonia, ak pitit li te arete ak depòte soti lakay yo nan DR. Sa ap pase avek anpil moun Ayisyen menm si manman ansent ak timoun piti. Imigrasyon ap pran moun nan lopital le yo chèche swen sante. United Nations te mande DR pou sispann sa paske se yon vyolasyon dwa moun. Sonia bezwen yon viza e pitit fi li bezwen yon paspò pou yo ka viv an sekirite ak lapè. Tanpri ede mw pou jwenn lajan pou bèl fanmi sa .
