Hello everyone! My name is Maliha Aneel and I recently traveled to Costa Rica, where I met Sonia Estrada and her family. Sonia and her husband live in Quepos, Costa Rica, along with their three kids and four adopted kids. The mother of the adopted children had to leave her kids behind amongst her own battles with drug addiction. Before the pandemic, the couple had a small cafe and that was their main source of income. However, due to the pandemic their cafe has shut down and their only form of income is selling little fish. Even though they don’t have much themselves, they still adopted the four children a few years ago, who they continue to provide with endless love and support given their means. They need help rebuilding their home and to be able to continue to provide for them. I personally had the pleasure of visiting the families home and saw the level of love that was present in their household. She told me “the house is missing everything but love” and gave me a tour. Even though these children barely had anything and are living under such horrible conditions, they all had a big smile on their faces and showered me with love. I really need your help raising some money for Sonia and her family.
