Help SOLE Stepping put New Roots Down

SOLE Stepping is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in South Carolina, with a heartfelt mission to support children in underserved communities. Our goal is to encourage souls one step at a time by providing new socks and shoes to local elementary school children who are in need. Since our humble beginnings in 2016, when we served 500 children, we have experienced tremendous growth, now providing over 3,000 children with new socks and shoes each year. Our commitment to helping children succeed and feel confident in their education has driven our impact, but we face a challenge that threatens our ability to serve even more children.

As our organization has expanded, so has the need for more resources. Currently, SOLE Stepping operates out of a small storage shed that is no longer sufficient for the shoes we distribute. Despite our growing demand, we have not secured a permanent storage location to house our inventory. This limitation has put a cap on our ability to fulfill the needs of the children on our waiting list. With over 60,000 children currently waiting for our help, we find ourselves forced to limit the number of children we can serve annually due to space constraints.

In 2025, we aim to address this challenge by expanding our storage space to better accommodate the increasing number of shoes we provide. A larger, more permanent storage facility will allow us to continue growing, expand our reach, and serve more children in need.
