Help Sofia's Father Rebuild After Fire

My name is Sofia Aguirre and I am here seeking help for my father’s sudden emergency and to recover his losses.

His apartment suddenly burnt down early this week, leaving him with absolutely nothing. The start of the fire is still unknown, but it may have been caused by a gas leak in the kitchen. Thankfully, my father noticed the smell, called 911, and evacuated immediately. God is great, and nothing happened to him or any of the tenants in the property. Unfortunately, all belongings were burnt, destroyed, or simply lost in the dust.

Almost all of my father’s clothing is burnt, leaving him with barely any clothing to survive the coldest winter days. All of his cherished memories and belongings are gone. Most importantly, this tragedy has left my father without a home.

He is a 77-year-old hardworking man living alone in NYC. Life has become very expensive and challenging; now, for an elderly man to survive alone is even harder.
