SoCal Jurassics is a legendary basketball team in the National Gay Basketball Association (NGBA), a non-profit organization that promotes athletics and camaraderie in sportsmanship for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. The team has a proud history, having competed against basketball teams from all over the world and taking home the gold medal at the last International Gay Games in 2023, held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
This year, the SoCal Jurassics are returning as gold medalists and reigning champions to defend their title at the International Gay Games 2026 in Valencia, Spain. The squad has been working tirelessly to prepare for the games this summer, but they need your help to make their dream a reality. The costs of travel, lodging, food, and uniforms add up quickly, and the team wants to ensure that every member can join and represent their community on the world stage.
Your support will help cover these essential expenses, and any funds not used for the International Gay Games will go toward the NGBA's National Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee, in October 2026. Please consider supporting the SoCal Jurassics as they strive to bring home another gold medal and continue inspiring others through their dedication and sportsmanship. Every contribution, big or small, brings them one step closer to their goal. Thank you for believing in their journey!
