Help Sobhi’s family to travel to Egypt

Hi, I am Sobhi Al-Zaharna from the Gaza Strip, my wife is Almiya Qweider, and I have two children, a son and his name is Abdel Fattah and a girl whose name is Hala. Of course, I am the owner of an aluminum company, my wife is a housewife, my son is in the eighth grade, and my daughter is in the fifth grade of primary school.

I have a father, Rami, and they live with someone else, and I take care of them in terms of health care, food, drink, medicine, and everything. What they need is, and I have a residential apartment to live in. Thank God, we were satisfied and happy before the war and we had many dreams, but in a moment our dreams changed into a nightmare, which is war and destruction and the fear of my children and our displacement from the Gaza Strip to the south for fear of bombing and death. Indeed, my house was bombed and my company was destroyed because of the war and we are now homeless and without safety. We see death every moment. My family and I are living our worst days. These days, when I see my wife and children in pain from fear and deadly hunger, we are escaping from the bitter reality in which we live. I sold everything I had to provide a living for my children, but now I don’t even have to buy bread to feed my children, and I am already sick. From the beginning, I have had asthma. I need health care and a clean atmosphere. I am more than tired of the many rockets and shells and the bombing of homes and dust. The air has become polluted with smoke and dust, and I cannot bear it. I have no other source of livelihood to buy medicine and food for me, my children, my father, and my mother. Now our lives have changed from a luxurious life to a bitter life. From a shelter in which no person can live, the drinking water is polluted, the air is polluted, the food is polluted, and all our lives are polluted. I am a human being and the head of a family. We live and I live a decent life. I teach them and raise them and live them in safety. I create a future for them and compensate them for their fear and the frightening scenes they saw of the devastating war and the scenes of death and dismembered bodies in the streets. Our souls. We stay away from fear and destruction. I protect my children and my family from certain death at any moment. I work and start a life without fear and safety. I and my family are the beginning. I compensate them for everything that my children are entitled to. I give them a life of happiness, safety, education, and entertainment.
