Help Smithson, a Homeless Marine Veteran

Hello! If you're here, you've probably seen my TikTok video. I am a United States Marine Veteran, and sadly, I am homeless.

I used to deliver goods to make ends meet, and I slept in my car, doing the very best I could to hold on. One night, I woke up to a repossession of my vehicle. There was nothing I could do. I took what I could carry, and I was never allowed to retrieve my belongings. That put me directly onto the street.

When I was a teen, my father sadly and suddenly passed away. It destroyed my household and broke my mother's heart. She sadly died in a similar fashion, suddenly, three years later. That was when, for the first time in my life, I experienced homelessness.

I know homelessness. It has been a bitter enemy for me for too long of my life. I hope that my videos raise awareness to those that do not understand it, give strength to those that have or will endure it, and maybe one day lend strength to the cause of ending it here, and in this world once and for all.

Here in America today, homelessness is an enormous social issue. Over a million people are experiencing it. This winter has been brutally cold.

I don't know who will see this, or who will care, donate, or at the least, share. I, however, trust in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the King.
