My name is Skyler Norman. I’m 23 years old and a single mom, reaching out for support as I rebuild my life after leaving a domestic violence relationship that also included financial abuse. Recently, my ex's parents forced me out of my home, leaving me and my daughter with no transportation and only just our clothes. I am also fighting for custody of my daughter. We are starting over with very little, but I have an opportunity to move into an apartment and begin a new chapter for us both.

While I am grateful for the chance to provide a safe space for my daughter, we are in urgent need of basic household items. We have no furniture, dishes, or other essentials to make our new apartment feel like home. I am hoping to raise enough to purchase a bed, a couch, a table, and other necessities. Additionally, a down payment toward a vehicle would make a huge difference in our ability to get to work, school, and appointments, helping us regain stability and independence.
