Skatespace is a local indoor skatepark that is still taking shape and has become a hub for youth development in our community. Over the past three summers we've offered skate camps for kids in the Columbia River Gorge and this past November finished building out all the ramps for the after-school skate club, lessons, open-skate, and community events. We’ve taught tons of kids how to push, balance, drop-in, and get started with skateboarding. More importantly, we’ve helped them build confidence, learn to get back up after a fall, and develop skills to regulate their emotions—lessons that go far beyond the skatepark.

Skateboarding at Skatespace gives kids a chance to step away from screens, connect with others, and focus on their own progress rather than comparing themselves to others. We’re proud to see more kids signing up for skate club and more lessons happening every weekend. Our mission is to provide a safe, positive space where young people can grow, have fun, and feel supported.

Right now, we’re asking for your help to raise funds for our insurance renewal, which is our second biggest annual expense. Without continuous coverage, we can’t keep our doors open or continue serving the community. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us stay open and keep making a difference.
