Hey there generous family! My name is Iuma and I am the oldest child of a loving mother who has always done her very best to keep my little sister and I safe and well fed. Having spent parts of our youth living out of vehicles and with friends we have been very grateful to have a home again in Santa Cruz for the past couple of years. I have been working full time and my mom part time (with physical challenges) to cover basic living expenses and we are just getting by. However, our current lease is up on July first and the only house we could find has a higher security deposit than our current house. We are currently very close to being broke partially because of having to drive up to Oregon to visit our grandpa for Father's Day, whom we hadn't seen in 8 years.
