Hallo, ich bin Sarah und sammle Spenden für eine Solidaritätskasse, um den Umzug meiner alleinerziehenden, polnischen Mutter zu finanzieren. Sie lebt von Bürgergeld, und ihr Mietvertrag wurde wegen Eigenbedarfs gekündigt und ihre Wohnung wurde verkauft. Nun muss sie innerhalb der nächsten zwei Wochen eine neue Wohnung beziehen. Obwohl ihr finanzielle Unterstützung für den Umzug zugesichert wurde, hat sie bislang kein Geld erhalten.

Meine Mutter hat außer mir und meiner jüngeren Schwester kein Unterstützungssystem. Wir beide sind aktuell stark ausgelastet und können sie kaum ausreichend unterstützen. Um sie und auch uns zu entlasten, möchte ich Geld für den Umzug sammeln.

Der Stress der letzten Wochen hat bei ihr bereits zu einer schmerzhaften Achillessehnenentzündung geführt. Sie braucht dringend Entlastung und die Möglichkeit, sich zu schonen. Mit fast 60 Jahren nach über zehn Jahren aus der Sozialwohnung geworfen zu werden, ist ein deutliches Zeichen für das Versagen staatlicher Strukturen. Insbesondere, da wir zuvor mehrere Jahre in Frauenhäusern gelebt haben.

Ich wünsche mir für meine Mutter einen würdevollen Neuanfang im neuen Zuhause. Nicht nur muss sie ihre Sozialwohnung im gentrifizierten Friedrichshain verlassen, sondern zieht auch in eine Wohnung weiter außerhalb nun.

Mit dem gesammelten Geld möchten wir:

Umzugshelfer organisieren

und eventuell eine Reinigungskraft beauftragen

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm collecting donations for a solidarity fund to finance my Polish single mother's move. She lives on income support and her tenancy agreement has been terminated due to the landlord selling her appartment and claiming Eigenbedarf. She now has to move into a new apartment within the next two weeks. Although she has been promised financial support for the move, she has not yet received any money.

My mother has no support system apart from me and my younger sister. We are both very overburdened at the moment and can hardly provide her with enough support. I would like to collect money for the move to relieve her and us.

The stress of the last few weeks has already led to painful Achilles tendinitis for her. She urgently needs relief and the opportunity to take it easy. Being thrown out of social housing at the age of almost 60 after more than ten years is a clear sign of the failure of state structures. Especially as we had previously lived in women's shelters for several years.

I wish my mother a dignified new start in her new home. Not only does she have to leave her council apartment in gentrified Friedrichshain, but she is also moving to an apartment further out.
