Hi everyone,

My name is Lissie and I am a mother of six children. We are currently facing one of the most difficult times in our lives. After leaving a domestic violence situation, I have been living in a temporary housing, doing everything I can to keep my family safe but unfortunately, we are about to face homelessness due to having to leave our temporary housing. Life has been rough the last couple of years my one son who's six is autistic, and two of my children my son who's nine and my daughter who's three years old have liver disease. Recently, I suffered a pulmonary embolism that caused me to have a hemiplegic paralysis on my left side. I spent time in rehab relearning how to walk and use my left hand. I am home now, working hard every day to care for my kids despite of my own health struggles. Between us three our medical bills can become overwhelming.

At the moment we are facing homelessness. My greatest hope is to be able to afford and find a stable, safe place for my children and a place we can call home. The funds from this fundraiser will help us secure housing, pay for medical bills, and cover basic essentials like food, clothing, and utilities etc. I am doing everything I can to hold my family together.

I am fighting with all I have for my kids... please help me, so I don't have to fight alone. Please rally around us and help me provide my children with a home. a safe place to live and give them a real chance to rebuild everything we have lost. Every bit of support will help us get back on our feet and give my children the stability they deserve.
