Sikham Saya is a dedicated farmer in Wailua who has always worked hard to provide fresh vegetables like long beans, green beans, onions, and tea cup flowers to his community. Recently, his life was turned upside down by the devastating Kona Low Storm. The severe flooding from the storm destroyed all of Sikham’s crops and left him unable to access his three cars, which were completely totaled. As the damage is still being assessed, Sikham is facing the heartbreaking reality of losing not just his livelihood, but also his means of transportation.

The impact of the storm didn’t stop there. Sikham lost his home, his clothes, and all his personal belongings. With everything he’s worked for washed away, he is now in urgent need of support to cover immediate basic living needs and to begin rebuilding his life. The funds raised will help Sikham find temporary housing, replace essential items, and start the long process of restoring his farm so he can once again provide for himself and his community.
