As many of you may know Lindsey and Jonathans daughter Shyann was in a major car accident. She is currently in trauma icu at MCG. We all know it is getting close to Christmas and times are hard but if you are able to please donate to this precious family to help relieve some of the financial stress.

Shyann is such a spunky girl who always has a smile on her face and I know this is so difficult for the family.

From Lindsey this morning—Nothing new this morning. We let her rest last night, her brain needs it. They gave her a bed bath and brushed her teeth (which sent her heart rate through the roof) and changed her bedding. They let me stay and help which helped my Mama heart. We have had a long day. Shyann is resting. I’m unable to touch her or talk to her as we don’t want to stimulate her so her brain can continue to heal and her nurses are stimulating her enough working on her. Please continue to pray for my baby girl. Not hearing her voice, seeing her smile, or looking in her beautiful eyes is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

LATEST UPDATE 1-22-24

Update on Shyann

We are still waiting on her to have purposeful movement, her to speak, or do anything on command. She is still having neuro storms which cause extreme high fevers and her body to contract. She is off of all oxygen and breathing all on her own (the tube you see is humidity going to her trach to keep it from drying up) We hope to get a g-tube for feeding her but until then her feeding tube in her nose will stay. Today is day 41. I am by her side night and day as leaving her is NOT an option for me. Jonathan Brown comes every other day so he can still spend time with our other kids and go to work. We as a family WILL get through this. If you can in any way help we would greatly appreciate it as this is going to be a LONG road. If you can’t, please share this post and PRAY BIG!!!
