My name is Shukri Filfil from Gaza, Palestine.

‏After extensive contemplation and careful study, I find it necessary to express the urgent need for assistance. The pressing need to protect myself and my family (my mother and father) goes beyond my hesitation, leading me to earnestly seek your generous support in facilitating our evacuation from the perilous circumstances here in besieged northern Gaza.

‏Having reached the second year of my university studies, war erupted, and I decided to stay in the north with my family, facing a catastrophic fate I never imagined. I found myself losing everything around me, from my completely destroyed university to my photography equipment in an airstrike on the Tala Hawa neighborhood. Additionally, I lost my part-time job at a company selling nutritional supplements for athletes when the entire exhibition and company warehouses were destroyed.

‏The hardships did not stop there. I lost my last chance for survival and the continuation of my academic and professional life with the destruction of my father's private factory, causing my family to lose all its sources of income, completely devastated by the occupation.

‏Despite all these tragedies, I set aside everything and thought only of providing help. I reassured displaced individuals in the south about their homes in the north, searched for their disconnected relatives to reassure them, and offered whatever assistance I could. I delved into documenting and exposing the occupation's crimes, leading me to be trapped in my home with my family and neighbors multiple times, enduring over 45 days of gunfire and shelling, with some neighbors sustaining injuries.

‏Amid the deepening economic and financial crisis, witnessing my nephews starving, I ventured into the most dangerous areas and found myself in an unprecedented massacre (the flour massacre). I survived and documented it, providing evidence to media outlets, international organizations, and aiding the wounded despite the risks involved.

‏Now, I, Shukri, am no longer that diligent university student self-reliant on himself; I am a young man who has lost everything, in need of assistance to continue his education and evacuate his family from war, securing a stable life until I complete my studies.
