Help Ship Joy to Kids in the Dominican Republic

Growing up in the Dominican Republic, I experienced firsthand what it was like to go without toys and basic supplies as a child. Now that I am able, I want to give back to kids and families who are facing similar challenges. Through Tranformamos Tristeza en Alegría, I have collected toys, clothes, and school supplies to help children experience the joy of play and support their education.

With the help of friends and supporters, we have filled 50 boxes with donated items, including book bags with school supplies, clothing for all ages, and toys to bring smiles to children’s faces. These boxes are ready to go, but we need help covering the shipping costs to send them to families in need in the Dominican Republic. Our goal is to have the boxes delivered before or by June 20th, so the children can benefit as soon as possible.

Every contribution will go directly toward and delivery expenses, ensuring that these gifts reach the kids and families who need them most. Your support will help us turn sadness into joy for so many children. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

Al crecer en la República Dominicana, experimenté en carne propia lo que era vivir sin juguetes ni útiles básicos de niño. Ahora que puedo, quiero ayudar a niños y familias que enfrentan desafíos similares. A través de Transformamos Tristeza en Alegría, he recolectado juguetes, ropa y útiles escolares para ayudar a los niños a disfrutar del juego y apoyar su educación.

Con la ayuda de amigos y simpatizantes, hemos llenado 50 cajas con artículos donados, incluyendo mochilas con útiles escolares, ropa para todas las edades y juguetes para alegrar el día a los niños. Estas cajas están listas para ser enviadas, pero necesitamos ayuda para cubrir los gastos de envío a las familias necesitadas en la República Dominicana. Nuestro objetivo es entregar las cajas antes del 20 de junio, para que los niños puedan beneficiarse lo antes posible.
