URGENT: Help Us Send Containers of Hope to Sierra Leone

Over the last couple of years, Citizen Outreach Coalition, Sierra Leone successfully sent 40 suitcases and boxes filled with clothing, shoes, books, school bags and other essential items from the UK to families in Sierra Leone. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, hundreds of people received items that many of us take for granted.

This year, the need has grown significantly.

We have already collected enough donations to fill an entire 2 shipping container, but unless we raise the funds to transport it, these vital supplies cannot reach the people who desperately need them.

For children, orphans and people sleeping rough in Sierra Leone, access to basic essentials such as clothing, shoes and blankets is not guaranteed. Many families are living in extreme poverty and rely on organisations like ours for support. Every day this container remains in the UK is another day that vulnerable people go without.

This appeal is time-sensitive. We need to raise the shipping costs as quickly as possible so the container can be transported, cleared through customs and delivered without delay.

Every pound donated will help get these life-changing items into the hands of those who need them most.

* Packaging and preparing the donations for transport.

* Customs clearance and port charges.

* Unloading and distributing the items to children, orphans, rough sleepers and families in need.
