Clean Drinking Water For Rural Children

Today when most of us take drinking water for granted, many elementary school students in the rural areas of China are still struggling with poor access to drinkable water.  Many are drinking from muddy rain water or unsanitary tap water where the existence of bacteria and parasites exceed the normal standard.  Despite the pandemic in 2020, Shin Shin Educational Foundation successfully installed 36 large drinking water systems for 30 elementary schools in 14 provinces, directly benefiting over 11,000 students.  Children no longer need to drink unboiled water due to lack of heated water supply, they no longer drink from bacteria ridden water tanks, and they no longer suffer from having to co-live with parasites.  $700 is the cost of a large drinking water system that can supply 300 children with sanitized drinking water.  Your donation will go a long way in improving the health and well being of our rural children.
